Hi there,

Look at you rushing to check out what the C-word is. Nothing controversial, but definitely overlooked from what we’ve seen 👇

TIP 1 - Use curiosity for your episode titles

One powerful titling technique is called the Paradox. Juxtapose your audience’s desired results with an unexpected element to pique curiosity. E.g. if your audience is interested in weight loss, a Paradox title could be: "The 5 Worst Foods to Eat if You Want to Lose Weight."

TIP 2 - Your podcast success measurement depends on the type of show you have

Number of downloads aside, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to measuring your podcast’s success. For e.g. got a podcast primarily for relationship building? A key metric to track is the number of referrals from your podcast.

TIP 3 - Tune in to Google’s 2023 update to their Quality Rater Guidelines

Want your show notes to outrank others on Google? Include quotes from the experts you’ve interviewed, strong talking points, and an introduction that hooks your reader.

This means you’ll have followed Google’s E-E-A-T (expertise, experience, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness) best practices. And that’s on SEO, ladies and gentlemen.
