Happy Monday! Anyone else find it extra satisfying when the month starts on a Monday? No? Just us? Alrighty then, let’s get to your tips for the day!

TIP 1 - How long should your podcast episode be? 

Unpopular opinion: instead of making the episode how long you think your audience wants, ask yourself what size of podcast fits YOUR life and then do that. Those that like that length will listen, and those that don't won't (btw studies have shown that for good content, people “bend their listening rules.”)

TIP 2 - Speak in soundbites as a podcast guest

There’s more to being a good podcast guest than having a great perspective or story to share. Your appearance needs to be enticing (make listeners want more) and marketable (easy for the host to promote).

One way to do that? Use soundbites to frame your answers.

TIP 3 - Promote where people are already in listening mode

Thinking about investing in paid ads? One effective method is to be presented to the listener while they are actively listening to podcasts.

In-App promotions such as banner ads, recommended podcast placements and featured podcast spots are great ways to find and convert your adjacent audience.
