Yep. Your podcast community is for your, well, community so make sure to ask them if they even want one. Then where they want it, how often, and for what purpose.
TIP 2 - Niche down aggressively
When John Lee Dumas was asked how he would approach podcasting in today’s world, he mentioned a common mistake most podcasters make:
“I would niche down aggressively until I dominate the competition and become number one in that category. People don’t do this because they’re scared. They think to themselves, “The podcast will have too narrowly defined a niche and not enough potential listeners. If I don’t get a lot of listeners, I won’t get sponsors and won’t make money.”
TIP 3 - Celebrate a win you had this week
